Does the PowerBar V2 strip Osram Oslon white require a heat sink? If so, will it work with Aluminum case set (53810)Thank you,

The PowerBar has Power Leds on it. All Power Leds needs cooling.

That Aluminium Profil Set you ask is suitable for power up to 16.8 watts.
For a PowerBar (28.5W) you need a larger heat sink.

in addition the PowerBar ist too large for that profile 20mm --> 16,5mm.
Maybe you can use the MaxLine stripes.

Thanks for both replies. I couldn't find any information on the Powerbar size or the particular LEDs used on the product page. But the LEDs used seem to be from the Osram Oslon LCW CR7P.CC family. I checked out a few resources on heat sink design but haven't found heat dissipation rates for the strip of the Powerbar. I would like to get this one particularly because of the high CRI. Should I just ball park conservatively and get a "big enough" generic aluminum profile with fins? Apologies this is my first LED project, but I have no issues getting into the technical details and any pointers would be really appreciated.

Thanks again!

It depends a little bit on the installation. For ~25W total power you should select a heat sink with at least 2K/W. The thermal resistance of heat sinks is usually given for ideal conditions (vertical fins, free air flow...). I would choose a heat sink with 1.5K/W or even better.
